  Taku's been in the same spot for at least 25 years, but it recently came under new management and the food is much better. I'm a vegetarian and this is one of the few places that makes vegetable fried rice that isn't completely bland -- they use a nice blend of spices on their vegetarian dishes, including vegetable fried dumplings and vegetable lo mein. The staff are friendly and service is prompt. Usually an order only takes about 10 or 15 minutes to be ready, so if you call ahead you're all good. The only thing Taku could use is delivery service.

  Taku 3 strikes and your done. Your food is absolutely terrible, your boneless ribs are dry overcooked and no sauce on it. The same for your BBQ ribs no bbq sauce and no flavor at all. I asked for chicken and broccoli extra chicken and very little broccoli. When I went home to eat it looked as if I had about a pound of broccoli. I think you need to find a new cook, or the one you have needs to learn how to cook. I will NEVER come back or recommend this place. I will warn others to stay away.

  REAL FRIED RICE! Not the yellow rice everyone passes off as fried rice these days. The food is always excellent. Wish they delivered.

  Lived in the city my whole life and best take out Chinese I've ever had. Does not deserve 2 stars.

  Disgusting food and lousy service in a grubby little storefront. I'm a real Chinese food lover. Taku is an abomination. Pork lo mein was a flavorless mush, noodles SO overcooked they fell apart. The spare ribs I ordered were burned black and totally inedible. Cash only? What year is this? I wouldn't eat their food if you paid me. AVOID!
